Problem Statements

1. How can I easily verify if I am being referred to an "in-network" clinician or lab and not an "out-of-network" party? (The latter might mean unexpected costs that could have been easily avoided, and published info may be unreliable and out of date.)
2. Can I learn the actual amount that I owe for services and procedures "out of pocket" before I leave a clinician's office or lab, instead of receiving a bill 4-8 weeks later via snail mail?
3. Most of us access payers via a phone number on our plastic wallet-friendly insurance card, and then must navigate multiple menu options, suffer hold times and authentication challenges. How can I access this information more easily?
4. How can I schedule the soonest available appointment with an "in network" physician or lab? I'm willing to drive far, pay a premium, and even visit virtually via telemedicine services.
5. Most health plan members are unaware of the additional services and benefits that their plans offer outside of "core" features. How can I easily learn about the additional services and benefits in context to my needs and lifetyle?
